Ordinance Pod
The pod contains a concussion missile launcher, a proton torpedo launcher, and a bomb chute.

The pod can be loaded with the following:
16 medium concussion missiles
8 heavy proton torpedoes
The payload is sometimes mixed with 8 missiles and 4 torpedoes.

By reducing the total missile/torpedo payload to half of a full payload the following can be added:
8 proton bombs or 6 orbital mines

For mass carpet bombing:
64 thermal detonators

For propaganda:
Thousands of leaflets, etc

Standard Mine
A minefield floating in space.  A ship flying into the minefield must make a Piloting check to avoid contact and detonating a mine. The check has a penalty based on the density of mine field (see below.) If fighting or making other maneuvers in the proximity of the mine(s) there is an additional -4 penalty. 

Proximity Mine
Any ship flying into a square with proximity mines will set one off if approaching withini 50m. The Pilot must make a check as a standard mine. 

IF more than one ship is in the square/proximity of the mines all Pilots make rolls. If all succeed they avoid the mines. If anyone fails they are hit with a mine.

Mine Field Density:
Light +4 bonus
Moderate 0 penalty
Heavy -4 penalty
Saturated -8 penalty
